Odor Description
Sweet-herbaceous Anise-Fennel type odor.

Occurrence in Nature
As main constituent in oils of basil, estragon and as a minor constituent in oils of fennel, aniseed and turpentine.

Application Information
Used in fragrance compositions such as lavender, fougere, and chypre. Gives a nice fruity/anise aromatic note.
